TTC Global Presence Hits the Mark at Canterbury Tech Summit 2025

For the second year running, TTC Global were thrilled to have sponsored, attended and exhibited at the Canterbury Tech Summit on Tuesday 9th September 2025. A key milestone in the Canterbury technical sector event calendar, this conference always draws a mix of technical innovators and established technology users. We were blessed that our site presence and conversations had covered the full range.

Being my first event on the vendor side of the conference, it was a great chance to catch up and check in with the community that I have loved being a part of and worked in throughout my career. Seeing old faces and meeting new ones was a true buzz, as well as catching up with the extensive list of our local clients that TTC Global are proud to be working with.

TTC Global Auckland's CEO Paul Whiston and General Manager - Innovation and Technology Mei Reyes-Tsai attended the event, where visitors discussed our AI investments in Quality Assurance and our dedication to Canterbury and New Zealand. As TTC Global marks 20 years of operation from a startup in Auckland, Paul's presence at the conference highlighted our commitment to expanding in the South Island.

Key takeaways from the conference for me were:

• The vibe and community nature of the Canterbury Tech environment. It really is a close-knit community, full of people that know one another and seek opportunities to collaborate.
• The level of startup activity in the local technology scene was awesome to see, we sure are a high achieving, innovative, passionate tech community where giving it a crack is at the heart & forefront of many of our talented entrepreneurs in our beautiful city, I am proud of you all! Christchurch is very much establishing itself as a technical and business innovation hub and thank you Canterbury Tech for your annual Summit as it is a key event for surfacing this.
• AI is becoming mainstream, where our local community is moving from hype to reality quickly & at TTC Global we are loving it!

• Emphasising the focus on startups, the mainstream adoption of AI, and the importance of collaboration, quality assurance emerges as a recurring theme. It serves as the cornerstone for establishing reputations and ensuring successful delivery.

We at TTC Global were genuinely honoured to be part of the Canterbury Tech Summit. It was an inspiring day filled with energy, innovation, and meaningful connection across our local tech community. Being there reminded us of the incredible talent and collaboration happening right here in Canterbury.
