Policy administration, claims management, billing, and digital channels depend on stable and reliable Guidewire systems to support every day business operations. When systems are unstable or poorly tested, the impact is felt across customers, brokers, and internal teams.

TTC Global helps companies protect their Guidewire investment by reducing delivery risk, safeguarding business continuity, and enabling confident change across Guidewire implementations, upgrades, and Guidewire Cloud migrations.

Protecting Guidewire Programmes from Operational Risk

Guidewire implementations directly affect claims processing, policy servicing, billing accuracy, regulatory compliance, and customer experience. Any disruption can quickly escalate into operational, financial, and reputational risk.

As insurers move to Guidewire Cloud and adopt more frequent release cycles, the role of quality assurance and quality engineering becomes even more important.

Continuous change increases regression risk across PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, BillingCenter, and integrated systems. Quality engineering ensures Guidewire platforms can evolve without disrupting daily operations.

The Risks that Make Guidewire Testing Critical
Guidewire testing is complex because it spans both insurance business processes and enterprise technology. Insurers must validate complete end-to-end journeys, from quote and bind through claims settlement and billing, across multiple Guidewire applications and digital channels.
Most Guidewire environments are highly integrated.

Payment providers, document management, underwriting tools, data platforms, and legacy systems all interact with Guidewire. Integration testing, API testing and API behaviour validation are therefore essential to ensuring end-to-end stability.

Guidewire upgrades and Guidewire Cloud migrations introduce ongoing regression risk.

Manual testing cannot scale to frequent releases, while automation must handle configuration-driven logic, product models, and regional variations.

Test data remains a major challenge.

Insurance data is sensitive, regulated, and interdependent, making realistic and compliant test data management difficult but essential.

Insurance companies also face non-functional, operational resiliency challenges.

Beyond functional testing, insurers must also address performance testing, scalability, security, and availability to meet customer expectations and regulatory requirements.

Supporting Every Phase of Your Guidewire Journey

TTC Global supports insurers with a quality engineering approach tailored to Guidewire. We work alongside delivery, transformation and operations teams to embed quality early and sustain it throughout the full Guidewire lifecycle.

Our approach is risk-based and business-focused.
We align Guidewire testing to critical insurance processes and known operational risk, providing clear visibility into quality, coverage, and readiness.
We act as a long-term Guidewire QA partner, supporting new implementations, Guidewire upgrades, Guidewire Cloud migrations, and ongoing optimisation.

Guidewire Quality Engineering for Complex Insurance Landscapes

TTC Global provides end-to-end Guidewire testing services designed specifically for insurance organisations.

Functional and End-to-End Process Testing

We deliver functional and end-to-end process testing across PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, and BillingCenter, ensuring that core insurance workflows operate reliably in real-world scenarios. Integration and API testing validates connectivity with the wider insurance ecosystem.

Manual and Automated Software Testing

Guidewire implementations traditionally come with large volumes of manual test cases. Our team rationalises and improves these existing test assets to ensure test automation delivers long-term value rather than short-term speed.

Data Integrity and Data Migration Services

Our services include data migration testing and data integrity validation to protect policy, claims, and billing data during Guidewire transformations. Regression testing safeguards existing functionality during upgrades and cloud releases.

Performance, Security and Non-Functional Testing Services

We also provide performance and load testing, user acceptance testing to support business readiness, and security-focused testing for systems handling sensitive customer and financial data.

Automation Designed to Protect Business-Critical Guidewire Systems

Sustainable quality in Guidewire programmes requires effective test automation. We help insurers design and implement automation that supports frequent releases and reduces reliance on manual regression testing.

With our Guidewire Test Automation Accelerator Pack, you can accelerate automation coverage, improve consistency, and lower long-term testing effort. Automation is applied pragmatically, focusing on business-critical processes and regression risk.

Greater Confidence, Lower Risk, and More Predictable Guidewire Delivery

Intelligent quality engineering protects core insurance operations during Guidewire Cloud migrations. This helps insurers maintain claims processing, policy servicing, and billing stability throughout the change process. With our support, our clients have achieved outcomes that drive meaningful impact across the business.

Insurers working with TTC Global achieve more predictable and lower-risk Guidewire implementations and upgrades.
Go-lives are supported by stronger test coverage and clearer quality insight, resulting in fewer production defects and shorter hypercare periods.
Over time, improved automation and structured testing reduce the cost of quality, improve release confidence, and support better customer and broker experience.

Accelerating Guidewire Testing at American National
A Test Automation Customer Success Story
Background

American National, a major US insurance provider with more than $4 billion in assets, relied on Guidewire as a core platform for accounts, billing, policies, and payments.

Testing was largely manual, making regression cycles slow, costly, and risk-prone.

Solution

TTC Global introduced a structured Guidewire test automation approach using Tricentis Tosca.

The team modernised test case design, reduced redundancy in the existing test suite, and automated critical Guidewire business flows across multiple applications.

Result

The optimised test suite achieved full functional coverage with less than half of the original test cases.

  • Regression execution time was reduced by approximately 90%
  • Testing costs dropped by around 50%
  • More than 90% of defects were detected through automation

Guidewire testing became faster, more reliable, and easier to scale without increasing risk.
